Celebrating a Year of Success: SDHF’s End-of-Year Celebration

The San Diego Housing Federation hosted its annual End-of-Year Celebration earlier this month at AleSmith Brewing Company, bringing together industry professionals, colleagues, and supporters to commemorate an unforgettable year of progress and community. The night was a perfect blend of networking, reflection, and fun, all while raising a glass to the dedicated work that continues to transform affordable housing in San Diego.

It was also a chance to honor and recognize the graduates, mentors, and instructor of the Affordable Housing Management Academy and their hard work throughout the course of the program, reflect on the many achievements of 2024, and to look forward to what’s to come in the new year.

November Keystone Lunch Recap - Senator Steve Padilla

Last week, SDHF our final Keystone Lunch of the year at Parc Bistro and Brasserie with special guest, Senator Steve Padilla.

In addition to sharing the wins of SB 713 and other land use policy work being done in collaboration with SDHF, Senator Padilla discussed how workforce impacts access to housing with today's attendees. He spoke of the need to invest in housing production, workforce development programs, and strategic programs that support folks at every level.

On the evening of Thursday, June 6th, the San Diego Housing Federation hosted its 34th annual Ruby Awards at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. This esteemed event gathered 350 members of the community, including developers, advocates, policymakers, and other key stakeholders, to celebrate outstanding achievements in affordable housing development, community development, public policy, and housing advocacy.
