Roundtable: Opportunity, Economic Equity, and Employment in the Affordable Housing Sector

SDHF continued our US Bank Sponsored Roundtable Series on February 25th. Moderated by SDHF’s own President and CEO, Stephen Russell, the panelists included Tina Ngo Bartel, Director of Center of Excellence for Labor Market Research for the San Diego & Imperial Counties Community Colleges and Michelle Sites, VP of ConAm Management Corporation.

The purpose of this Roundtable was for leaders in the affordable housing sector to come together and have a conversation about SDHF’s commitment to a long-term initiative to connect communities of color and youth to career pathways in the affordable housing sector. The program included an overview of the goals of this equity-focused initiative, as well as highlights of a proposed property management training and mentorship effort.
