The San Diego Permanent Housing Learning Collaborative

Formed in 2015, The Permanent Housing Learning Collaborative (PHLC) is a diverse group of stakeholders of Affordable and Permanent-Supportive Housing in the San Diego region facilitated by Housing Innovation Partners (HIP), a local developer, and sponsored by the San Diego Housing Federation. Our members include housing developers, owner/ operators, advocacy organizations, local public housing authorities, funders, and a wide range of professionals and agencies invested in special needs housing.

The PHLC covers topics applicable to agency administrators as well as onsite staff members. All are welcome to join us! Our goal is to leverage our mutual support to set the conditions for and to run quality, industry-leading housing programs in the San Diego area. The PHLC works to support its members through:

·       Collaboration and mutual support.

·       Training and capacity-building for project staff members in best practices from housing design to property operations.

·       Update and analysis of current and emerging trends in the industry.

·       Problem-solving common situations that occur in housing and mutual support.

·       Advocacy on any issue impacting PHLC members and voicing our needs with a unified voice.

·       Addressing other needs as they arise.

In 2024, the PHLC has moved to meetings on a quarterly basis. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the applicable month from 2:00-3:00pm via Zoom. In 2024, our remaining meetings will be held:

·       October 23rd 2:00-3:00pm
