Notices, Evictions, and Housing Assistance Post COVID-19 Tenant Relief Act (CTRA)
The transition period ended on September 30, 2021 terminating many requirements under CTRA. Even though the statewide limitations on evictions terminated, it was replaced by the COVID-19 Recovery Act. The Recovery Act created new requirements for Notices and Evictions from October 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022. This program will go over the legal requirements and how it will affect your cases. We will also discuss the lingering aspects of the CARES Act and the new HUD Interim Rule. After this presentation from Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP, there will be a speaker to discuss the practicalities on the rental assistance program.
