San Diego Housing Federation’s annual Affordable Housing & Community Development Conference brings together more than 600 developers, builders, architects, lenders, property managers, service providers, elected and agency officials and staff, community, and business leaders to share innovative approaches to affordable housing, community, and economic development. This year, the Conference will be held at the Marriott Marquis Thursday, October 1st.

Our 2026 theme, is a direct call for workshops that tackle our most pressing challenges. We are looking for sessions that address the instability of our current social and political landscape, from the uncertainty of long-standing programs to the disproportionate impact of housing policies on communities of color. Together, we will explore forward-thinking solutions that ensure our 'United Purpose' preserves the essential role of affordable homes in fostering health, education, and true racial equity.
