HEAL Summit to Deepen and Expand Leadership

HEAL held its first annual Summit on Saturday, March 7th to bring together both North County and San Diego cohorts, to build a common vision, plan for future of the Network, and train for giving press interviews. We also took a moment to celebrate all that HEAL has accomplished in only 9 months: from speaking at various City Councils to County Board meetings, giving press interview to speaking at conference panels, to serving on RTFH Board of Directors and running for office. 

While at the Summit, a new structure was introduced to the program— a policy coordinating committee organized for, and by the Network to help monitor local policy discussions, and shape HEAL’s monthly meetings and advocacy opportunities for the Network. To help the HEAL Network develop its identity, members were gifted with HEAL t-shirts and business cards as well.
