LISC San Diego Roundtable Series Presents: Multifamily Energy Solutions with SDG&E

Hosted by the San Diego Housing Federation and LISC San Diego

Join us at the August Virtual Roundtable, sponsored by LISC San Diego. This roundtable will provide information on State Assembly Bills that affect the energy landscape, as well as provide information on energy efficiency rebates and incentives to the Multifamily sector.  Those who should attend include property managers, owners, and developers of multifamily buildings with 5 or more units.  The Roundtable will convene association members and program implementers for discussion on the following topics:

Time-of-Use rates for Multifamily Properties:  Time-of-Use rates are a way of pricing energy that puts customers in control. If you can shift some of their energy use to lower-cost time periods, you can lower your electricity bills and make better use of cleaner, renewable energy sources, like wind and solar, when they are more available.

AB 802 - Energy Benchmarking and Disclosure in California:  For Building Owners and Managers, it is important to understand the benefits of ongoing energy monitoring, as well as the legal requirements for public energy benchmarking disclosure. This overview will provide a summary of AB802 and the mandated statewide benchmarking requirements, as well as information on what SDG&E is doing to facilitate the process.

Energy Savings Assistance Program:  Learn how SDG&E can assist your property with a comprehensive whole building solution through the Energy Savings Assistance Program.

Residential Customer Programs, Bill Payment Assistance, and SDG&E's Coronavirus Response:  There are several assistance programs and services available to help your tenants with their monthly utility bills.  Learn about our CARE and FERA monthly energy bill discounts, Medical Baseline Allowance Program, Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the Neighbor-to-Neighbor fund where tenants may obtain assistance with paying their SDG&E bills.

This specific roundtable event is FREE to members and non-members of the SDHF alike.
