Supportive Housing Learning Network September Workshop:

Fair Housing Training

If you and your staff want to be at the top of your housing game than this is the training for you! Fair housing laws, rules and regulations can be incredibly detailed and potentially complicated. Because of that you'll want to ensure that everyone on your staff receives this up-to-the-minute fair housing training. Housing discrimination is a serious and complex issue and every person on your staff has a shared liability in preventing or mitigating complaints, thus reducing potential penalties to managers and property owners.

This training will help you visually recognize your basic day-to-day fair housing responsibilities, all in practical language, so you can understand and apply that knowledge immediately. The goal is to help you recognize and respond appropriately to the many situations you may face on your property. Basic disability issues, support animals, parking, behavior problems, ADA, determining eligibility, termination of tenancy and much more will be covered in this comprehensive three-hour training.
