Affordable Housing and the Federal Stimulus

Congress is expected to vote this week on a federal stimulus package that exceeds $1 trillion. The Take Responsibility for Workers and Families Act, or H.R. 6379, includes many important provisions regarding affordable housing, which is central to the economy and the well-being of San Diegans. Tell our San Diego Congressional delegation how important it is that affordable housing is addressed by the stimulus!

H.R. 6379 includes:

• $15 billion for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG)
• $5 billion for Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG)
• $100 billion for Emergency Rental Assistance
