The San Diego Housing Federation hosted its annual End-of-Year Celebration earlier this month at AleSmith Brewing Company, bringing together industry professionals, colleagues, and supporters to commemorate an unforgettable year of progress and community. The night was a perfect blend of networking, reflection, and fun, all while raising a glass to the dedicated work that continues to transform affordable housing in San Diego.

It was also a chance to honor and recognize the graduates, mentors, and instructor of the Affordable Housing Management Academy and their hard work throughout the course of the program, reflect on the many achievements of 2024, and to look forward to what’s to come in the new year.

Silent Auction

Adding to the festivities pf the evening was the silent auction, which featured an impressive array of over 20 generously donated items. From unique local experiences, to international adventures, and indulgent food and beverage packages, the auction provided plenty of opportunities for attendees to bid on one-of-a-kind offerings while supporting SDHF's mission. The excitement didn’t stop at the auction. Attendees eagerly awaited the drawing of the raffle, where a few lucky winners walked away with prizes!

Honoring the Achievements of 2024

While the festivities were in full swing, the event also served as an opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of the Affordable Housing Management Academy (AHMA) graduates, mentors, and instructors. These individuals were celebrated for their completion of the Affordable Housing Management Academy, as well as the many hours dedicated to mentorship and guidance. SDHF celebrates their achievements and dedication to making a difference in countless lives of individuals and families.

The evening was a heartfelt acknowledgment of the hard work, partnerships, and successes that defined the year, but it was also a moment to appreciate the continued commitment of the SDHF community to meeting the growing demand for affordable housing solutions in San Diego.

Looking Ahead

As the event came to a close, it was clear that SDHF had much to celebrate. But it was also clear that 2024 is just the beginning.
