Consolidated Plan Meetings
Underway |
One more community meeting remains prior to
the City of San Diegp's Consolidated
Plan going to the City Council for approval on April
28. It is Monday, April 20 at the Navajo Community
Planners meeting. The plan describes how San Diego will
allocate its HOME, Emergency Shelter Grant, HOPWA, and
CDBG funds. A proposal to change the way the City
allocates its CDBG funds is being developed
simultaneously but the City Council's PS&NS
Committee was told yesterday that it will probably not
be ready for inclusion in the Consolidated Plan.
The Plan will have to have "substantial amendments" to
incorporate CDBG and spending for the $6 million in
additional ESG stimulus funds.
