| John Craven Memorial Award |
A public employee who has taken risks and has gone above and beyond the call of duty to assist affordable housing developers .
Given in memory of John Craven, one of San Diego’s most prominent housing development officials. Award includes $1000 donation from Craven family to non-profit organization of winner’s choosing. See nomination form for further submission details. |
| Outstanding Development Partner |
Lender, Architect, General Contractor, Engineer, Title Company. Consultant or other entity that provided unique or outstanding support on an affordable housing development project. |
| Outstanding Advocate |
Individual or organization who has contributed time, energy, leadership, and dedication to the cause of affordable housing |
| Outstanding Government Agency |
Governmental agency which took unusual risk or initiative to support affordable housing and/or community development initiatives in the past year. Agencies outside of San Diego and California are eligible. |
| Housing Project of the Year - 50 Units or Less |
Outstanding Affordable Housing Developments completed in San Diego County between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. |
| Housing Project of the Year -- More Than 50 Units |
Outstanding Affordable Housing Developments completed in San Diego County between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. |

Outstanding Affordable Housing Developments completed in San Diego County between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 that were rehabilitation projects. |
| Housing Project of the Year - Special Needs |
Outstanding Housing Developments completed in San Diego County between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 that serve one or more of the following special needs populations:
- HIV/AIDS
- Developmentally Disabled
- Homeless
- Substance abuse
- Domestic Violence victims
- Mentally Ill

| Outstanding Service To Residents |
Any individual employee, (property manager, resident services coordinator, maintenance worker, landscaper, daycare center worker, etc), volunteer, team, or resident program of an affordable housing complex who provides excellent service to residents. |

Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Award |
Affordable Housing Development, in San Diego County, completed between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009 that has taken unique steps to promote energy efficiency and/or sustainability in their design.* See detailed requirements on nomination form. |
| Special Recognition Award |
Nominations are invited for people, projects and programs not fitting any of the above categories that made a significant difference in the field of housing and community development in 2009. These could include a community development project, community innovation project, smart growth plan, outstanding staff member of affordable housing development company, news reporter, etc. |
| CSH Supportive Housing Award |
Recognizes the outstanding leadership of an individual or organization that has made a significant difference to the creation or operation of high quality supportive housing in San Diego. Nominations are invited for public or private partners, supportive
housing tenant, or a supporting housing advocate for their commitment to the supportive housing movement. |
| Lifetime Achievement Award |
A member of the affordable housing community who has more than 20 years of experience will be recognized for outstanding contributions and innovations in affordable housing and community development, including impacts of affordable housing policy, production, programs and/or advocacy. |
